Amanda Loverseed Prints
Amanda Loverseed studied illustration at Cambridge College of Arts and Technology. Immediately after leaving college she had her first two children's books accepted and since then she has worked exclusively as a professional illustrator and artist. Working for many different clients, including Walker Books, Harper Collins, Phoenix Trading and Marks & Spencers she has created a wonderful and diverse collection of illustrations for pop up books, prints, cards, gift wrap and many other products, including cross stitch kits for Bothy Threads.
Her 'Blue Butterfly' card for Phoenix Trading is probably the fastest selling greeting card in Britain ever and it helped raise over AU$ 40,000 for Phoenix Trading's Australian Bushfire Appeal.
The 'Cut Thru' range of art prints reflects Amanda's love of detailed work and her ability to see the world around her as inspiration for an imaginative world of her own creation. She works mainly with a dip pen, ink and watercolour on fine artists paper.
Working from home, surrounded by the beautiful Sussex Downs, she lives with her husband and two cats. The cats are delightful and her husband Simon is even moreso, and an extremely accomplished antique furniture restorer with an international reputation.
"Working with River Studio is a complete joy and has allowed me to explore the creative possibilities of using my illustrations for prints. The quality of their product and their artistic insight makes it a real pleasure to work together."
Amanda Loverseed.
