FINE ART

The term 'Fine Art' is often used to describe the classic forms of art but today it is more commomny used to denote images that are 'art based' rather than purely photographic images. River Studio employs artistic techniques both during and after the image is captured, on either film or digital media.

The use of Adobe Photoshop has given us an almost endless pallette of tools and techniques which may be used to create images which go far beyond the realms of basic photographic imaging. River Studio uses several artistic techniques but in a very limited way, to enhance rather than to alter the basic image. In this way we retain the core feel and the heart of the subject and only enhance what is already there.
